Have you found yourself at challenging junctures lately, the types of situations that ask you to dig deep into your integrity, knowing, and truth, and stand in it even though it may appear to cost you something dear?
I have seen this with so many lately – clients, friends, and my own experience. You know the squeeze, that excruciating place where you are asked to be true to your knowing no matter what may come. It feels like none of your options are good. Continuing business as usual is untenable, but to make the needed change feels like a death.
This is often the nature of our souls’ Big Asks, where we are unequivocal in the requirements of our human lives. Why? Because the main event for the soul is our conscious evolution into greater truth of alignment with the core of our being. Everything in our life leads to this.
The Wisdom of the Soul and Encouragement for the Path
Our souls know where we are headed even while our human may be saying “what the?” We will often guide ourselves with what appears to be an almost callous disregard for our and others’ comfort. If we are facing one of our big asks and are tepid, i.e. unwilling to make the courageous choice out of truth in love, tensions will continue to increase to an unbearable level until something gives.
This is the trend I’m seeing in full living color at the moment, so I thought I’d offer some perspective and support. First, know that these Big Asks are here of your own design (albeit not from your human mind or emotions!). They are literally You showing your self the way. Can you allow each juncture to guide you? This includes non-resistance to others (respect and honoring) and courage to stay firmly in your own knowing and choice. What results is a huge refinement of your own power and presence.
When Mutually Exclusive Truths are Both True
You may have heard this before: What is truly real cannot be lost. I find this to be accurate, while simultaneously acknowledging that real things absolutely can be lost.
To bring clarity to this oxymoron, I’m going to illumine the whole (11th dimension) while also dropping down into the density (3rd dimension).
In honor of what can be lost, let’s take a hypothetical situation (which I do realize is a reality for many). You have a particular viewpoint on the vaccine, and your family members or friends have another. There can be disagreement and pressure in both directions, often leading to judgment, anger and mistrust. If your choice is aligned at the level of knowing, and you are following your heart (including but not limited to any information you have gathered), and someone says to you that if you do not align with their perspective and choice you are no longer welcome, you are in a tight spot. This is a Big Ask for you to stay with your own guidance and knowing, and to be willing to follow it even if it costs you something you hold dear.
This is just one example of a Big Ask. I’m watching them play out in every arena including relationships, careers, health, finance, and especially our relationship with ourselves.
Why It Doesn’t Work to Follow Another’s Path
Here is something I see: perception creates reality. So if you are adopting someone else’s perception and its subsequent trajectory, you are affirming that reality above your own perception. This is not an inherently good or bad thing, it just creates a particular kind of suffering, because what results is a misalignment with your deepest knowing. Thus you bear dissonance within, and are in some state of self-betrayal. Your life easily shows you how painful this is. If you can’t digest your choices, your gut may inflame. If you submit to someone’s control (or the control of your own fear), you might feel chronic pain. Often the dissonance arises as general anxiety. You get the picture.
We are not meant to live in self-betrayal any more than we are called to betray others. This is a matter of personal integrity at the level of presence, and our entire well-being hinges on it. Thus the Big Ask of resonant alignment. And what exactly are we aligning with? Our own infinite presence. Otherwise we can never be safe in our own skin, cannot find or sustain meaningful relationships (because they are built on falsehoods), will be frustrated and angry, or will experience a kind of “failure to thrive” where our energy is drained, health issues arise, finances go awry, and a nagging sense of unfulfillment pervades our days.
Different Truths in Different Dimensions
We live simultaneously in multiple dimensions, including 3D, 4D, 5D and beyond. Dimensions manifest as aspects, such as physicality (human self, nature), thoughts (4D astral realm), soul (the etheric realm), and ultimately oneness (11 D and Presence). Each dimension has different sets of truths.
The human life and all things physical are ephemeral. No matter our belief systems, we all get it that this body will one day cease being our life vehicle. “Christine” doesn’t go on forever.
Soul is the level of karma and life lessons, the aspect of us that incarnates into persons. Our souls live across times and dimensions. Souls learn and grow, and generally come into and out of lifetimes with certain “goals” in mind, though I see them more as opportunities. We create a playing field ripe for certain experiences, and then discover and create even more divinity through them.
Spirit gets us to the heart of the all – our divine presence, our state of being-ness, our infinite awareness. It is one and the same as the field of All – God, universe, all that is. We live as awareness of and experience of this unity.
What Exactly Can Be Lost, and What Can’t
You can see how different truths abide in different dimensions. At the human level, anything and everything can indeed be “lost”: relationships, resources, health, peace of mind, even our very life. These things are real when our entire vantage point is the 3rd dimension. At the soul level (5D), we experience a greater sense of stability and longevity, but can still fragment and suffer wounding, as well as learn and grow and change.
And then there is the realm of Spirit, the space of the eternal. This is what I’m referring to when I say “what is real can never be lost.” We cannot lose a relationship, for all is one. We cannot lose resources, for we are everything. We cannot lose at all, because all exists eternally. We find no matter what happens, no matter how many times we are born and die, no matter what comes and goes, everything still IS. All of it. It can’t be lost, found, or or made finite.
Putting It Together
So when we are up against something in our lives that asks us to “sacrifice” a human aspect for the Big Ask of our soul, we are really pointing ourselves toward living as the fullness of what we are – Presence. In Presence as Spirit, we affirm that all paths are valid and that there is never even anything to learn or forgive. We are beyond Soul and Karma, beyond lessons and losses, and simply live as the Love that we are. We realize not only can we not lose a relationship, our money, or our health, we actually can’t lose our life, either.
As we navigate the very practical nature of these Big Asks from soul to human with integrity and love, the strength of our choices leads us to embodied awakening – the abiding awareness of our own infinite presence. And it plays out through the 3D fields, like setting boundaries, making changes in relationship, speaking up about needs or desires, and so many other things. The grand cosmic design plays out in the nitty gritty details of our lives. Also, you’ll find that the particulars of what it means to align with Presence will vary through your life. It isn’t so much about a consistent set of parameters as it is a continuing vibrational state of alignment.
I hope these words have been supportive for you as you navigate your Big Asks. I am with you. I see you and fully appreciate the magnitude of the task. And I know you are more than up for it, because you are no less than the all: Author, director, producer, and lead actor in your Divine Mystery Play. Your soul knows what it is doing, because the path is created by Spirit, You as the very Presence of All.
Infinite Love –
Christine
