“In its essence, scrying is the practice of looking with the belief that things can be seen.” CL from writings, July 2016

For me the richest experiences happen when beautiful truths that we know in theory become our lived reality. In these golden gate moments, truths such as “All Is Love” and “We Are All One” climb down from the shelf-of-lofty-ideas and become ground level real. They take shape as a bodily knowing we feel in every fiber of our being. They change us as we become radiant from within.

Today (8-8) was one of those glorious days where the truth became fleshy and felt, and I’m writing to share the Lionsgate blessings. While the lucid dream journey I’m recounting was “mine,” in the end I feel like it has little to do with me. Such symphonies of light belong to all of us. I may be a vehicle communicating some words, but the energy transcribed is here to illumine our shared reality and a way of being in harmony with each other and life itself.

I took my psychedelic journey within the container of a Continuum dive using the substance-free practices of sound, breath, fluid movement, and imaginal inquiry. The experience drew on many traditions that span thousands of years, so some elements may be familiar to you.

The subject of our exploration was three sacred pools. Our task was to arrive and gaze, to scry if you will, and to see what was reflected and revealed.

Each pool (lower belly, heart center, and head) offered a myriad of insights and gifts, but I’m sharing today about one in particular. The divine heart pool provided the most powerful movement from cognitive concept to embodied, experiential reality.

And so we enter. As I traveled through the microcosmic orbit of breath and sound and arrived at the heart, the first thing I noticed was how clear it was. There was no color, just a pristine visibility in every direction unlike anything I’ve experienced in this earthly realm. The heart, it appeared, was all about seeing clearly.

The visionary scope was endless. From within this pool I could behold everything from every vantage point with absolute precision and transparency.

My first vantage point was from the center looking outward (while I am describing spatial relationships and calling it a pool, these words fall short…it was more like an endless orb of clear space without boundary in which awareness was).

As “I” began looking outward in 360 degrees, I realized this is what it feels like to be a single point of perception, i.e. a person, living at the center of her co-created world.

Then I realized I could also look inward from all vantage points, meaning take turns as “everyone else” looking at “me.” Not only that, I could experience the inward and outward perspectives simultaneously.

Here in the heart pool, I beheld a much vaster perception of what life looks like through “me” (so clear and ongoing, no distortion or blind spots, such a full experience of emptiness and fullness), and also an infinite variety of how of how others perceived “me” – enlivening revelations!

I saw a good deal of unconditional love full of honoring and non-hierarchical connection in all directions. I also saw that some “looked up” from a point they might have perceived as lower, and some “looked down” with superiority. Every thought, judgement, and perception, whether mine of everything else or everything else’s of me, was infinitely clear.

Then I became curious about what was beyond all of these points of perception. My attention was guided into what felt like the space around and beyond. At some point as I explored “out” into this endless space, all distinction ended. All of the perceptions had dissolved into a single, unified space of awareness.

In that moment, this perspective became the greatest truth I knew. And I don’t mean “knew” as a cognitive idea but rather as a full-body-and-being reality. I’ve known it well in concept (and several times in experience) – that we are all aspects and expressions of the One, that we are all the same Being in the end…and yet to to experience it so completely from everywhere all at once was magnificently new.

But the most wondrous revelation was what came next, and it was this: Every single vantage point, whether holding hatred or adoration, whether neutral or nothing, was actually all the same thing. Every perspective was born of the same field, thus all was a single gaze. That gaze was Love.

Hatred, when traced to the root of the root, was Love. What? Adoration or disdain, when experienced from the seed point of the bud of the bud, were both Love. They were completely different experiences born of the same energy. The only variable was how “far” the energy stream had travelled from the Source point, much like an old-fashioned game of Telephone where the end message becomes totally unrecognizable from the original.

I played in this for a while, surfing between form and formless, noticing. Differentiation offered the variety of experience. Return of awareness to the Source point dissolved the illusion separation. Being fully aware of these oxymoronic experiences simultaneously became the embodiment of Love.

When we were complete with the communion with each pool, we were to make an offering. My offering to the heart pool was devotion, a promise to endeavor to re-member this truth in every circumstance. To know that all of the distinctions I experience are the same One Love. To live that truth.

This is how a visionary experience can become a practice. For what is the point of a vision if it doesn’t become an embodied, shared reality? This is what we would call the “action plan” of the dream (whether that dream be sleeping or waking).

I realize I may lose the embodied experience of this truth again. I have before. But if I do, I will find my way back more readily to this knowing that can’t be un-known. It will expand and grow until the deepest truth is all that remains. For that is the nature of Love. It becomes us. Fully, completely, without end.

May it be so for all of us.

Love,

Christine

I have encountered the opposite lately, too, where I felt like the loveseat was yanked out from under me. Such surprises have come from those who seem to expect the worst, who come out swinging when there hasn’t been a bell and isn’t even a ring.

I realize I don’t understand that approach, because it is not my way. And yet every experience, every approach, exists. I know mine well enough. So I set about knowing more about what I don’t know.

What I see is there is likely to be more unreasonableness in the world as we go through the very tight funnel in this phase of the shift. Many are feeling the squeeze from every direction (understandably so) and they are bracing, hunkering down. They also don’t have much inner resource, so it makes them a bit bonkers.

We’ll see lots more epic kindness too (I know I have), and people looking out for one another in heroically selfless ways. It’s the amplification of the polarization yet again – all approaches exist, in ever greater relief. The questions are what inner work have we done, and what do we choose?

I know all of this, know the work is an inside job, feel like I’m on it…. so I was a bit flummoxed to find myself yelling, “F*** YOU!” the other day. Loudly. Unreasonably. With feeling, as in molto passionato. For quite a while.

What was going on? It all began innocently enough – with a walk down the road.

After a neighboring landowner met my cheerful greeting with silent disdain as I passed by (not the first time), after she contacted my landlord the next day and, citing an obscure clause in an easement agreement, demanded that we not walk the common road from our house to the highway (which I’ve done for 7 years and which passes through her property where she’s been for 3), after I nicknamed her Cruella DeVille and yelled profanities at her (fully beyond earshot and out of view), after I prayed for her at night that she be blessed, guided, empowered and protected, that she be free on the inner and outer, that she be happy…

After what turned out to be a rather rigorous spiritual work-out, I found myself curious about getting inside her perspective, inside this innate oppositional approach. I get the thing about how hurt people hurt people and all that (this isn’t our first weird challenge from her area of the mauna), and yet I felt a deep curiosity about such a way of life.

As I sat in the love space, that beautiful field beyond right and wrong doing, I began to see it. I could feel it. I felt what it was like to be her, to be only ever fighting your way through life, to not trust anything or anyone, to have learned from the get-go that the best defense is a combative, self-preservational offense.

I have no interest in the particulars of why it is like that for her, and I certainly don’t feel one’s past experiences justify bad behavior. But I could understand it from the inside out. She – whoever she is and whatever her life has been – simply is. It wasn’t about fairness, or how I wanted it, or if it made sense. It just was.

From there I could also see why me and my friend walking the road might be difficult for her, and why she wouldn’t like it. I could genuinely see from inside her life, and it made sense from there. It totally didn’t make sense from inside me, but it did from inside her.

And then I found the peace. I felt sad, but I was peaceful.

My landlord informed me there is another obscure clause that grants us the right to walk a 6-foot pathway on the edge of all properties all the way down. That way would literally take us right beside this woman’s house, like within touching distance. Surely not an improvement for her.

I told her I do not wish to invoke that right as I could see it would simply lead to more ill will, and in the end, I’m practical. I’m also more of a lover than a fighter. That may or not always be the best way through, but it is my way, and to that I can be true.

I can continue to endeavor to love Cruella better (maybe I should rename her Cruet?). Which is actually loving me in the end. And you. And all. Because, well, The Law of One. I tell you, the refinement gets ever more refined when the distinctions become so frickin’ “personal!” Which is precisely the point, isn’t it? Damn ascension! 😂

I’ll find other ways to get that beautiful, sweaty nature walk besides going up and down what I have affectionately named “Little Wai’pio” due to the butt-busting hills. There are always other ways. And who knows what treasures will be unearthed as I search for them?

It reminds me of a mantra I’ve taught many times over the years:

“Whatever is happening, it’s going to take me lighter, higher, freer, more joyful, and more loving.”

And so it is.

Today I came across these words:

“Love all you see, including yourself.” — Kahuna Nui Hale Kealohalani Makua

According to Kahuna Hale Makua, there are three ihi Kapu Sacred Laws of Aloha and an Abundant Flow of Life:

1. Love All that You See with Humility.

2. Live All that You Feel with Reverence.

3. Know All that You Possess with Discipline.

The above was shared by KahuKalīloa KealohaPoliahu Lee Loy, and I was grateful to come across the wisdom and love. It strenghthened me for the journey. As always, I get by with a little help from my friends 💝

Thanks for listening in.

Much Love –
